Traveling Alone...

Hello,

I am 26 from California, US. and have decided that I am going to travel starting in Feb/March! I have always wanted to go traveling but never had the chance. I've currently been at my dead at job for the past 6 years and honestly, I need a change! I also just became single so I figured what have I got to lose!!!! I can't even explain how excited I am to do this! Scared but so very anxious!!!!

Anyways, I was thinking of starting in Ireland and then going wherever from there...but I have noticed that it is so expensive to go to Europe and I was wondering if anybody has any advice or input or even knows of better places to start your travels! :o) I basically want to see everything! I have no time restraints and not even sure if I will end up coming back to California or not! haha I do plan on working while traveling so if there are any countries that you know of where it may be easy to find jobs, I am all ears! I would love to see all of Europe but I am definitely not opposed to starting out in another country as well! Basically just going to backpack wherever I can! I am also doing this alone since none of my friends or family are able to do this...so if any of you are also planning a trip, we should meet up! :o)

I would love any advice, references, ideas, great places to see, job finding, great pubs/restaurants/night life, etc. Anything! :o)
